WHO WE ARE

Essen Bioscience is a privately held company headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Our team has a long standing tradition of delivering break-through technologies for the life science industry and to date our inventions have accounted for nearly 1 billion dollars in worldwide sales. We are proud of the fact that we are enjoying our 6th consecutive year of organic revenue growth.

RECENT CHANGES

In April of 2010 we underwent a name change from Essen Instruments to Essen BioScience in order to better reflect our current business model; offering both life science instrumentation as well as contract services. At Essen, we have always been about building better assays, and by adopting this hybrid business model we can bring these assays and our expertise to more customers.

European office at the BioPark in Welwyn Garden City, UK

New world headquarters in Ann Arbor, Michigan

A GLOBAL COMPANY

We have recently moved our headquarters to a newly renovated facility in Ann Arbor (picture to right). This new locations boasts a total of 25,000 square feet with newly renovated laboratory space for biotechnology development projects as well as service contracts.

In July of 2009 we opened our European office in Welwyn Garden City, UK. This office serves as our service and support depot for our instrumentation business, as well as our laboratory facility for our European Discovery Services business unit.
